Ethel M. Baker
Mrs. Ethel M. BAKER, 66, 530 Pontiac street, died at 8:15 a.m. today at her residence. She had been in failing health for eight months.
Mrs. Baker was born March 15, 1911, to William and Halla ZEIGLER PAINTON in Logansport. She had been a Rochester resident since 1950, coming here from Logansport. She married Ralph L. BAKER on Nov. 5, 1933, in Hartford City; he survives. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist church, United Methodist Women, the Birthday club and the Rochester Women's club.
Survivine with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Carol) SEE, R.R. 6, Rochester; a son, the Rev. Ralph E. BAKER, Dayton, O.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. James (Halla) SHAVER, Mountainburg, Ark., and Mrs. Jack (Charlotte) HIGHT, McLean, Va., and two brothers, William E. PAINTON, Logansport, and Dr. Richard PAINTON, Monticello.
Services are tentatively set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. Paul STEPHENSON and the Rev. Laurence SMITH officiating. Burial will be at the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cencer Society or the Grace United Methodist church.
