Mr. Dosher was born in Southport on August 15, 1932, son of the late Thomas Hoyle Dosher Sr. and Hermine Beora Dosher. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Dosher was a retired longshoreman. He was preceded in death by a son Charles Manning Dosher.
Survivors include one son Albert Arthur Dosher Jr. and friend Joyce Sherve of Southport; one daughter Becky Dosher of Southport; two brothers T. Hoyle Dosher and wife Betty of Southport, John Richard Dosher and wife Roberta of Southport; one sister Hermine "Sissy" Dosher Hall of Harrells; one granddaughter; two great grandchildren; four nephews and four nieces; and many other friends including Reese Swan and former wife Eugenia Holden.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Northwood Cemetery in Southport with Reverend Charles Drew officiating.
