11 April 1950: Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Risser Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland Street, for Mrs. Dora M. Wirt, formerly of Lebanon and more recently of New York City, where she died last Saturday. The Rev. E. M. Rhoad, pastor of Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church, Ninth and Church Streets, officiated, and referred to her many years of activity in both the church and Sunday school when she resided here. Burial took place at Ebenezer Cemetery with relatives acting as pallbearers. Funeral Director John B. Risser was in charge of arrangements. [Lebanon Daily News]
