LAPORTE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Eva R. Nern, age 75, who died in her home in Hanna Tuesday night, will be held Friday afternoon at the Hanna Methodist church with burial in the Hanna cemetery. She was born in Inwood, Ind., Sept. 26, 1864, and had lived in or near Hanna for 50 years. Surviving are her husband, Conrad E. Nern; one son, Rodney, Glendale, Calif.; two nephews and four nieces. Mrs. Nern was active in the Methodist church, the Rebekah lodge and the Hanna Current Events club.
