9 Dec 1915
On Tuesday, November 23, 1915, the death angel visited the home of Mr. Henry Fairchild and claimed for its own the loving wife and mother. She had suffered long duration and wanted to die, her suffering was so great. But we hope our loss is Heaven's eternal gain. We all hope to meet her on the beautiful golden shore where pain and death can interfere no more. She leaves a husband, five sons and three daughters to mourn their loss. The remains were taken to a graveyard near Barrier for burial. ///' Daughter of John & Celia Matilda Mills Barrier
