Born March 17, 1904 in Moroni, Utah to Riley Newton Draper and Eliza Maria Petersen. Married Minnie Amelia Belliston, June 20, 1934 in the Salt lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He was in the High Priest Group leadership, served as Ward Clerk, and well-known as a Gospe1 Doctrine Teacher. Served in the Salt Lake Temple for six years. Served many years in the US Postal Service.
Survived by wife, daughters, Mrs. Marva Watt, Orem, Utah; Mrs. Daria Ellis, West Valley; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers, Riley and William, Salt lake; sister, Nida Redmond, Buena Park, California.
Funeral services, Thursday, February 2, 1989, 12 noon, at the Bountiful Tabernacle 1st Ward, 51 South Main. Friends may call Wednesday 7-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Thursday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the ward. Interment in Bountiful City Cemetery.

Marvin and Minnie were kind and godly people. Marvin loved his service in the Salt Lake Temple, where he played well a part that made those who knew him smile at the irony. He is sorely missed.
