Donald C. Edgerton, 92, of Boise, died Tuesday, May 20 at a local hospital, of natural causes. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27 at First United Methodist Church, Cathedral of the Rockies under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.

Don was born on June 16, 1915 in Iowa to Elmer and Sarah Altha (Gilbert) Edgerton. He attended school in Jerome, Idaho from first to twelfth grade. Don later married Anna "Betty" Elizabeth Rosenberger in a Methodist Church Parsonage. Don worked for the CCC for two years, was an IRS auditor for 32 years and worked in a medical clinic for 21 years. He loved Chukar hunting in Oregon as well as fishing and reading. He had a special interest in S.C.O.R.E. Don was also a member of the American Legion.

Don's survivors include his wife, Betty; sister, Shirley Small of Depot Bay, Ore.; brother, Virgil G. McSpadden of Junction City, Ore.; nine nieces; 10 nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Marcia; sisters, Doris Hill, Elinor Edgerton, Margaret Lynde and Phyllis Lewis. Memorial donations are suggested to go to the Cathedral of The Rockies.
