Bonnie Jean Flick
Beloved Mother Bonnie Jean Flick, age 79 of Venice, Fla. and formerly of Fairview Pa., died on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at HarborChase of Venice in the care of Tidewell Hospice. She was born in Rimersburg, Pa. on August 22, 1931, to the late Edward and Ida McCoy.
Bonnie was a member of Girard Alliance Church prior to relocating to be cared for by family members. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who was dedicated to her faith. She enjoyed music and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jack Flick in 2000, her son, Bradley in 2007, and 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Gregory and his wife, Colleen of Venice, Fla. and by grandsons, Greg Jr. of Sarasota and William and his wife, Jennifer of North Port, Fla. with great-granddaughters, Abbie and Leah.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, East, Girard. Services will be held there at 10 a.m. on Monday with Rev. Clyde Davis officiating, followed by a luncheon and time of fellowship at Girard Alliance Church, 229 Rice Ave., Girard.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
