Funeral services for Mrs. Mayme Blanch Laster of 802 MacKenzie, Stinnett, will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Victory Baptist Church, Stinnett, with Rev. Ray Cobb, pastor officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Mert Cooper of the First United Methodist Church of Stinnett.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mrs. Laster had lived in Stinnett for the past 45 years and died Saturday at 2:30 a.m. in North Plains Hospital following a long illness. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stinnett and is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Laster Sr., and one son, Hugh Laster, Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Yake of Stinnett, Mrs. Lucy Strader of Dumas and Mrs. LaVern McFarren of Stinnett; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Reba Laster Kelly of Shawnee, Okla.; one brother, Glen Arnhart of Jerome, Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Jessie West of Tacoma, Wash.; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
