Obituary
W. E. BOSWELL PASSES AWAY
The funeral of W. E. (Sade) Boswell was held at the Methodist Church at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with burial in the Masonic Cemetery. Deceased had been in failing health for two or three years and was confined to his bed. The end came at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. Deceased was 66 years of age and the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Boswell, one of our county's oldest and most substantial families and is survived by the last Boswell family member, Mrs. Clara Kirkpatrick. Deceased was married to Miss Della McMillin in 1897, who with three children survive him: one daughter, Mrs. Whit Johnson, and two sons, James and David, and two grandchildren, little Bill and Mary Elizabeth Johnson. All were at his bedside, except David, who resides in Texas and was unable to get here but he had spent a week with his father recently. Mr. and Mrs. Boswell resided here in Louisville several years after their marriage where Mr. Boswell was in the mercantile business. Subsequently they resided in Arkansas while managing a large plantation, then Jackson while managing a hotel, returning to their native home a few years ago. In his passing, this writer loses a life-long friend and one of the biggest hearted men he ever knew. Peace to my friend Sade.
