Raymond Jensen Buried In Blair
Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at the Blair Methodist Church for Raymond Myron Jensen of North Plains, Oregon. He passed away at the Millsboro Hospital in Oregon on July 14th, and services were held at the Colonial Mortuary at Portland on July 17th.
Mr. Jensen was born on April 30, 1905 to Andrew and Anna Jensen. On January 7, 1933 he was married to Leola Nelsen.
He farmed with his father and was a salesman before moving to Portland in 1936 and moved to North Plains in 1947. He has been a supervisor foreman with the Pacific Northwestern Bell Co. for the past 23 years. He was in World War II, was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church and of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors besides his wife, Leola, are his brother, Harland C. Jensen, of Sioux City and his step-mother, Mrs. A.A. Jensen of Millard.
The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
