Yesterday at 3 o'clock pm the funeral services over the remains of George Edward Littlewood, were held in the ward meeting house. He contracted a cold while shearing sheep and it finally developed into pneumonia and he passed away Sunday afternoon. It was a great shock to his parents and relatives as they had no idea that the end was so near.

The following brethren spoke during the services: E A Beckstrand, J J Bennett, Howard B Bushnell, Joe H Fisher, and Bishop Stewart. Each speaker spoke of the unstained character of the deceased and his was kind to his parents, honest, industrious and of good clean habits. It is all the more sad as he would shortly have been married to Miss Elizabeth Edwards, a highly esteemed young lady of the ward.

The deceased leaves a father and mother and three sisters and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.

The meeting house was tastefully decorated and the casket was covered with floral offerings. Twenty five vehicles followed him to the grave. The ward joins in heartfelt sympathy for the bereaved family and friends.
