Funeral for Hawley Kirk Howell, 88, of 623 Richifield Drive, San Antonio and formerly of Bell County, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Heartfield Funeral Home, the Rev. Clyde E. Nichols of Temple officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Howell died Wednesday in a Temple hospital.
He was born in Highland, Tenn. and was married ito Kattie Dixon Allen, July 26, 1910, in Temple. He was a retired rancher and farmer and a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife' a daughter, Mrs. Annie Lee Peyran of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. Lena Martin of Highland, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be W. B. Lum, James U. S. Bounds, Walter Cox, Hollis Raney., L.C. Stewart and Thomas L. Reed.
