Earl M. Carson
Died in Altoona Hospital at Early Hour Today
Earl M. Carson, of 12 West Fifteenth street, passed away in the Altoona hospital this morning at 4:27 o'clock of diabetes. The young man, who was a well known employe of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper company, had been in failing health the past fifteen months.
Earl M. Carson was a son of the late George and Nora King Carson. He was born in Tyrone, July 3, 1901, and on April 23, 1925 was united in marriage with Miss Mildred Geneva Harpster, in East Tyrone, by Rev. Mr. Fyock. His wife, two children, Velva and Lois and these brothers and sisters survive: Paul Carson, Tyrone; Charles Carson, U. S. Army; Pauline Carson, of New York, and Alva Carson of Tyrone.
Mr. Carson was a member of the United Brethren church and the Paper Mill Relief Association. He was a young man of affable disposition and had a host of friends who regret his going away.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the First United Brethren church, conducted by Rev. J. S. Colledge. Interment in Charlottesville cemetery.
