Farmer Dies After
Lingering illness
Oliver Busch, 71, who formerly
lived at 1428 North st., died Sunday
evening in the Veterans hospital,
Indianapolis, following a
lingering illness.
Born July 27, 1888, in Burrows,
he was the son of Henry and Jo-
sephine Grandstaff Busch.
A retired Carroll county farmer,
Mr. Busch was a veteran of
World War I, and a member of
the local VFW post and the American
Legion.
Survivors include one daughter,
Mrs. Mary Isaacs, 1428 North st.;
two sons, Robert, Syracuse, Ind.,
and Gaylord, New York city; 14
grandchildren; one brother, Earl,
Wickensburg, Ariz.; and one sister,
Mrs. Grace Panfle, 1421 Tenth
st Two brothers, Jake and Wilson,
preceded him in death.
Final services will be held at
3 p.m. Wednesday at the Fisher
funeral home, with the Rev. Paul
Winder officiating. Burial will be
in the Rockfield cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home after 7 p.m. Monday.
