I hope someone can clear things up for me. It appear Katherine [Catherine] Claybrook of North Carolina was married to Thornton B. Stone of Missouri at some point and they lived in Los Angeles in the 1930s before the 1940 census when they were enumerated together in Reidsville, Rockingham Co, NC. In 1950, they were back out in Whittier, CA running a hardware store together. Thornton died in 1960 in Riverside County, CA, and Katherine must have come back to NC where she is buried. She is listed in Ancestry as having married Robert Boaz Stone at some point thereafter, but I haven't found a marriage record. Anyway, does this sound about right for her?
