John Baker Jr. age 93, of Hazard, KY passed away on April 07, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. John was a United States Air Force Veteran and a retired coal truck driver. He enjoyed spending his time fishing.
He was born on Oct. 01, 1927 to the late John Baker and the late Celia Bowling Baker. He is also preceded in death by his wife: Kathleen Smith Baker; one daughter: Gloria Baker; one sister: Loretta Newell and four brothers: Floyd, Dink, Frank & Aguin Baker.
He leaves surviving one daughter: Martha Everidge (Harold) of Somerset, KY; two sons: Robert Baker (Vicky) of VA & Jeff Baker (Stacy) of Hindman, KY; one brother: Malcom Baker of OH; one sister: Carolyn Moore of OH; seven grandchildren: Jonathan, Chanelle, Anthony, Lauren, Brooklyn, Brayden & Kynley; five great grandchildren: Waylon, Jacob, Jaylon, Gavin & Victoria; special friend: Steve Miller; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends
