Graveside service for Hix L. Waller Sr., 72, Lawton, will be at 3 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jim Antwine officiating.
Mr. Waller died Saturday, May 14, 2005, in Lawton.
Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
He was born March 17, 1933, in Poteau to Dan and Bertha Jones Waller and moved to Lawton at an early age. He worked at Sheffield Motor Supply for 33 years. Next, he worked as an auto mechanic and owned and operated a repair shop for 10 years.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Waller, Lawton; a daughter, Virginia Fisk, Lowell, Mass.; a stepson, Johnny South, Lawton; a stepdaughter, Patricia Smalley, Lawton; a brother and sister-in-law, J.D. and Pat Waller, Marlow; a sister, Shirley Meizo; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Hix Lee Waller Jr.; two brothers: Lewis and Nathan Waller; and two sisters: Letha Fletcher and Inez Gallager
