Mr. Earl Jeff Abney, 83 of Leisure Lane, Bremen passed away July 16, 2009.
Mr. Abney was born on August 18, 1925 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of the late Ben Abney and Maggie McCray Abney. A retiree of Sewell Manufacturing Company and Member of Fist Baptist Church of Bremen.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Allen Abney, son, Allen Abney, sister, Louise Monroe and brothers, Frank Abney and Joe Abney.
Survivors include son, Jeffrey Abney of Powder Springs and three sisters, Lois Edwards, Mary Newman and Gladys Abney.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 2 pm from The First Baptist Church of Bremen with Brother Herman Parker officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. June Walker. Kenneth Spearman, Eddie Mixon, Travis Tab Gable, Vaughn Gable, Jimmy Edwards and Ralph Edwards will serve as pallearers.
Interment will follow in Steadman Church Cemetery.
