Ann Richardson, June 14, 1917-Sept. 13, 2010, Ann Richardson, 93, of 510 Ohio St., Rochester, passed away at 2 a.m. Monday at Gardens of Lake City, Warsaw. She was born in Tippecanoe on June 14, 1917, to Valorous B. and Almyra B. (Harding) Fisher. On March 14, 1937, Ann and George "Bud" Richardson were married in Rochester. Ann graduated in 1935 from Tippecanoe High School. She was a homemaker. She retired in 1987 after 30 years of service at Hart Schaffner & Marx. She was a loyal member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary of Rochester.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Stayer, Warsaw; two granddaughters, Linda "Susie" Bentele and husband Jerry, Leesburg, and Cheryl Gearhart and husband Greg, Fulton; great-grandchildren Samantha Jo Walker, Morgan Nichole Williams, and Heath and Misty Gearhart; and great-great-granddaughter Adaline Eck. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and three brothers.
A celebration of the life of Ann Richardson will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the services in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
