Lavryl lived with her parents and siblings on her maternal great grandparents' pioneer logcabin home called the Ecklund/Larson/Reimers farm until she graduated from Bismark High School in Bismark, North Dakota. She followed her sister, Donna, to Chicago, Illinois to work as a secretary.

She met her future husband in Chicago and was married in Philadelphia. Her husband's work sent them to Sue Saint Marie, Michigan; Minot, North Dakota; Orlando, Florida; Sarasota, Florida; then to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dad loved the warm weather and they decided to stay in Baton Rouge.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to talk to people, read mystery novels, and plant flowers in her yard and she loved her church and church family. Her and her husband are members of Grace Bible Baptist Church.

She had many nicknames during her time..when she was little her relatives called her Tula (little or precious bundle in Swedish), Dad introduced her as Lee to his sisters and brothers, and her grandchildren called her Mimi.

She was 62 years, 7 months, and 12 days old. She died from breast cancer that went into the lungs.

Her paternal grandparents were Adolph Reimers and Annie Marie Jensen. Her paternal great grandparents were Johann Christian Reimers and Elsie Kirstie Wilhelmsen; Andres Jensen and Sina.

Her maternal grandparents were Louis Larson and Hattie Larson. Her maternal Great grandparents were John Walter Erickson/Ecklund and Marie Larson; Issac Larson Sr. and Martha Margaret Sjostrom Tjenstrom.
