John Howard Arnold, 61, of Marysville, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at home.

Born October 4, 1948, he was a son of the late Harry and Evelyn J. Forsythe Arnold.

Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his baby daughter,
Dawn Marie Arnold; and sister, Anna Roth Arnold.

Surviving John are his loving wife, Bonnie; children, Kendra, Michael, and Edina;
4 stepchildren; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandsons;
two sisters, Beverly L. Siders of Camp Hill and Margie L. Weiser of Harrisburg; and
two brothers, Harry W. of Enola and Richard E. of Newville.

John was a Vietnam War veteran having served with the U.S. Army who received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star,
Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 devices, 1 Overseas Bar and the purple heart.

He was a member of the Marysville VFW. John enjoyed dancing and NASCAR.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 3pm on Oct. 4, 2010 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. A reception at Wesley United Methodist Church, 405 Sylvan St., Marysville, PA 17053, will follow.
