Anna Mae Ozga, 85, of 200A Stoner Drive, Henry, died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at her residence.

Born Jan. 9, 1916, in Sparland to John and Edna Pearl Newell Christman, she married Ted Ozga on Jan. 9, 1949, in Chicago. He died April 25, 1995.

She also was preceded in death by one sister.

Surviving are one son, John (and Rose) of Sparland; one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy (Kathy) Schwiderski of rural Lacon; one sister, Rachel Rasmussen of Quarryville, Pa.

She and her husband owned and operated Ted & Ann's Tap in Sparland for 16 years. She later worked in housekeeping for St. Joseph Nursing Home in Lacon before retiring.

She was a member of Walter Guede American Legion Post 593 Auxiliary in Lacon.

Burial will be in Sparland Cemetery.
