Funeral Services for Frank G Tyson, 76, who died suddenly Thursday evening in his home, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 at the Stark Memorial with Rev. Larry Wigal, pastor of the Phillips Christian Church, officiating.
A retired painter, Mr. Tyson was born in Wood County October 14, 1880, the son of Jacob & Lavina Bloom Tyson. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Virtie Detrow Theisen; a daughter Bernice Wakefield of Orrville; 2 sons, Galen Blosser Tyson of Blasdell, NY and Robert Tyson of Buene Park, California; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Coe of Salem. Miss Alice Tyson, of Salem & Mrs. Walter Coy of Salem; 3 brothers, Reuben of Columbiana, Jacob of West Salem and Moses of Massillon; 4 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

Frank G Tyson married his first wife Dora May Brown August 11, 1901 in Wayne County, Ohio. To this union 3 known children were born -Gladys Leona Tyson, Bernice Nettie Tyson and a baby boy Tyson.
Eight years after Dora's death, Frank remarried he married the former Nellie A. Blosser on April 3, 1909 in Mahoning County, Ohio. To this union 1 child was born - Galen H. Tyson. After Nellie's death in 1913 Galen went to live with his maternal grandparent's Henry Blosser & Mary Ann Detwiler.
On May 20, 1924 he married Virtie Mae Detrow and they had 1 child Robert Leroy Tyson.
