That sister, Jane Morrison, was married to a "Carnes" and which Carnes is still to be proved. She is found in the 1850 Censuses of Commerce Township with a Carnes family and she is living next to her brother, James Morrison.
It might be that she was the wife of John Morrison who is buried here. If so, we have no idea of her maiden name.(BL Apr 2013) If this is correct, then the links to James and Martha Morrison are incorrect.
It has also come to light recently that it was a Mary Jane Macomber that married JW Carnes, not this Jane Morrison.
