Calixta Marie Dupont was the daughter of Jean(John) Baptiste Philise Dupont and Alphonsine Cardinal.
She married before 1916 to Edward Mark Cushion, son of David Henry Cushion and Ellen L. Bolin.

Calixta immigrated in 1892 from Canada to USA. Settled in Springfield, MA. Residence for many years was 121 Stockman St.

Mrs. Calixta(Dupont) Cushion, formerly of 121 Stockman St., died Friday at the home of her daughter, at 202 Hamilton St., Cambridge,(Ma).after a brief illness. She was born in Montreal, Canada and had lived here for the past 68 years. She was the daughter of the late John B. and Alphonsine(Cardanel)Dupont, and was a graduate of Cathedral High School here in 1908.She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Irene Osbourne of Santiago, Cal.,Mrs.Lucille Bourque of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Marjorie Kulig of Cambridge; a brother, Charles N. Dupont of St. Petersburg, eight grandchildren and three nieces. The funeral will be held at the Edward F. O'Donnell Funeral Home, Tuesday at 8:15a.m. with a solemn requiem high mass in Our Lady of Hope Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday and Monday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
