Edward married Calixta Marie Dupont, the daughter of Jean(John)Baptist Philise Dupont and Alphonsine Cardinal.

Edward M. Cushion, 121 Stockman St., died suddenly Tuesday morning in his home. He was born in Claremont, NH.,son of the late David H. and Ellen (Bolin) Cushion, and had lived in Springfield 47 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Church. For the past 46 years he was a maintenance man for Springfield Street Railway Co. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Calixta(Dupont) Cushion;three daughters, Mrs. Irene Osburn of San Diago, Cal.,Mrs. Lucille Bourque of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Andrew Kulig of Springfield; a brother, Harry Cushion of St. Petersburg, Fla.;eight grandchildren, three nieces and several great nephews. The funeral will be held at the Edward F. O'Donnell funeral home on Friday morning at 8:15, with a requiem high mass at 9 in Our Lady of Hope Church.Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today and Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
