Son of Andrew Jackson Beavers and Eva Riddle. Husband of Louisa Priest. Father of fifteen children; Glenny, William, Lenora, Roxie, Gardie, Jennie, Lucy, Arby, Bessie, Harry, Hazel, Exa, Opal, infant, Tyndall.

Thomas Edgar Beavers passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jay Davis, in Lincoln on Tuesday, February 4, at the
age of 80 years, 1 month, and 1 day.
Funeral services were held at the Gardie Beavers home Thurs-
day afternoon, February 6, conducted by the Rev. Henry Dumler.
Mr. Beavers, the son of A. J. and Eva Beavers, was born at
Woodland, Iowa, January 3, 1861.
On January 14, 1880, he was united in marriage to Louisa
Priest at High Point, Iowa. To this union were born 15 children.
Those living are: Glen J., of Superior; William R., and Arby,
of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Lee Richardson, of North Platte; Mrs.
Carl Kincannon and Tyndall, of Berkeley, Cal.; Gardie, of Davenport; Mrs. Dorsey Dudley, of Geneva; Mrs. Roy Moore, of Oak; and Mrs. Jay Davis, of Lincoln.
He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Ella Lane, of Garden Grove,Iowa; 38 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
His wife and four daughters preceded him in death.
Mr. Beavers had lived within eight miles of Davenport since
