Nellie Pearl Ansley (nee Crawford) was born in Williams Co., Ohio, March 28, 1895,and passed away at the Wauseon Hospital Jan. 4, 1933, at the age of 37 years, 9 months, and 7 days. She was always a faithful and devoted mother and companion
and was always liked and well thought of by all who knew her. In 1899 she moved with her parents to Blakesley, Ohio, and on June 19, 1912, she was united in marriage to Edwin R. Ansley at Hillsdale,Mich. She spent the remainder of her life in and around Williams Co., except about
ten years which she spent in Michigan.To this union nine children were born:Ralph Leroy, Lavern William, Sylvia Belle,Kenneth Benjamin, Doris Lucille, Thelma Lavone, Gerald Edwin, Emily Almeta, and Vernice E. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Edwin R. Ansley, and
two sons and three daughters who are all remaining at home. Ralph Leroy, Sylvia
Bell, Kenneth Benjamin, Doris Lucille, and
Thelma Lavone, three brothers Dale, Clarence,
and George Crawford all of Hillsdale,Mich., two sisters, Orpha Crawford also of Hillsdale and Mrs. Adelma Englehart of Montpelier, Ohio. The funeral was held in the Friends Funeral Home and the body was laid in the Montpelier Cemetery. The
sermon was by Rev. N. J. Clay.
