Maude was the wife of Martin W. Tubbs ( he may be buried at D-22NW-2?) and passed away after a long illness. She was a graduate of the Teacher's Class of Alfred University and was about 27 years of age. She taught for several years in the Portville vicinity. At the time of her death she was survived by her husband, Martin W. Tubbs; her mother, Mrs. Mary Allen; One brother, Arthur Tubbs of Olean, NY. The funeral was held at her home on July 2, 1905.
