She was born Jan. 6, 1912 in Aholt, Mo. to William and Anna Berlener Cazzell.
Mrs. Hurst lived in Sumner 20 years. During the last nine years she and her husband operated Spitler’s Department Store which recently was sold and is now Gibson’s Department Store.
She is survived bv her husband, R. M.(Mike) Hurst, Sumner; a son, William E. Suttner, Union, Mo.; a step-daughter, Mrs. John Litter, Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Pehle, Washington, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the Sivert Funeral Home. The Rev. Grant Cummins will officiate; burial will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union, Mo.
