Harold was the son of John Miles Francis McKie and Mary Gertrude Black. Harold married Margaret Rosina Giraud.

Harold M. McKie Dies at Hospital
Harold Malcolm McKie, 63, of Denver, former Fort Morgan rancher, died Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Fort Morgan hospital.
McKie was born Jan 18, 1902 at Page Center, IA. He came to Morgan County from Loveland in 1928 and ranched south of Ft. Morgan until 1947 when he moved into Fort Morgan. After living here for three years, he moved to Denver. Besides his wife, Margaret, of Denver, Mckie is survived by one son, James, of Fort Morgan; five sisters; Mrs. Amelia Bateman and Mrs. Alice Berner of Fort Morgan, Mrs. Geneva Craig of Arvada, Mrs. Mary Garrett of Longmont and Mrs. Margaret McCartney of Los Alamos, NM and one brother, Gilbert, of Pompey's Pillar, MT. There are four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Culter-Jolliffe Chapel with Rev. H. Judson Van Gorder officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
