Sailed from Brest France with 371 other Huguenots to Georgetown district of South Carolina in about 1764.

Said to have served under Count Polaski in the Battle of Savannah during the American Revolution.

Moved to Florida when son John was 5 years old (about 1800). Had 300 acre land grant around Nassau river area.

Had a small Merchantile Business in Charleston.
