Graveside services for Doyce Edward "Eddie" Cleckler, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27, at Cleckler Family Cemetery in Lincoln County. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cleckler, 60, died Sept. 23, 2010, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born in Harlingen, Texas, on July 11, 1950, to Doyce Elmer Cleckler and Lula Faye Clarke Cleckler.

He worked in the oil field as a subsea engineer. He was a member of the Fair River Masonic Lodge.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, Joyce Smith.

Survivors are his stepmother, Mildred Cleckler, of Houma, La.; his sons, Doyce Houston Cleckler, of Brookhaven, and Cameron Jennings Cleckler, of Sumrall; his brother, Ted Cleckler, of Abilene, Texas; his grandchildren, Brandon and Zachary Cleckler; and numerous nieces, nephews, stepbrothers and stepsisters.
