James R. Huffman, Dies.
James Richard Huffman, 74 years old, a resident of Joplin 27 years, died at 11:30 o'clock last night at his home, 106 1/2 West Seventeenth street. He had been ill three months. He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Earl Jeans, 1717 Kentucky Avenue, Mrs. Lola Jackson of Springfield, Mrs. Lulu Oaks of Ponca City, Okla., Mrs. Jessie Melton of Alluwe, Okla., Mrs. Dessie Fox of Weston, Calif., and Mrs. G. W. Stewart of Boremont, Kan., and a half-brother, Lon Cutwright of Hartsville, Mo.

HUFFMAN -- Funeral services for James R. (Casey) Huffman, 74 years old, who died Saturday night at his home, 106 1/2 West Seventeenth street, will be conducted at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Hurlbut chapel. The Rev. John Morgan will be in charge. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be H. W. Sterling, D. W. Rush, Frank Elliott, John Houk, J. W. Harlan and J. C. Hatfield. Active pallbearers will be Charles Ballard, R. N. Wade, Dee Boles, M. A. Stripling, Roy Jeans and J. W. Jeans.
