HAMMOND, DONALD C., 83, of Port Richey, died Tuesday (July 14, 1998) at home. Born in Lynn, Mass., he came here 21 years ago from Boxford, Mass. He was a retired director of music for Swampscott High School, Swampscott, Mass., and attended St. Martin Episcopal Church, Hudson. He was an Army veteran of World War IIanda member of the New Meadows Masonic Lodge, Topsfield, Mass., and the Egypt Temple Shrine, Tampa. Survivors include a son, David H., Middleton, Mass.; a daughter, Donna E. Hardy, Chicago; and three grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Holiday.
