Virginia Welch, 66, a resident of Prairie Grove, died September 18, 2010 at her home. She was born March 12, 1944 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Albert (Babe) and Ruby Ellen McClendon Guist. She was a member of White Rock Light of Faith Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie Welch of Elkins, Arkansas, and Hayden Welch of Crosses, Arkansas; a daughter, Sue Glasscock of Durham, Arkansas; two sisters, Shirley Guist of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Lola Guist Lindsey of Baytown, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Welch; a sister, Martha Vanderlip; and a brother, Arthus Guist.
Services were held at White Rock Light of Faith Church in Fayetteville with H.M. Shipp officiating. Interment was at Tharp Cemetery in Fayetteville with arrangements by Luginbuel Funeral Home.
