Bertha Morganthaler, 81, of 2510 Nevada street, died at a local hospital Sunday. A resident of Bellingham for the past 15 years, Mrs. Morgenthaler has resided in the Ten Mile district for 40 years prior to that. She was a member of the Spiritualist church.

Included among her surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Thistle, of this city; and Mrs. Gertrude Wise, of Seattle; two sons, Clarence, of Los Gatos, Calif; and Fanton of Deming; two sisters, Mrs. Lean Osborne in Ohio, and Mrs. Rosa Morgenthaler, of this city; and six grandchildren.

The remains are at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. Bertha Stocker Broyles, Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Cremation will follow.
