VELMA L. BUUCK, 94, formerly of rural Decatur, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, 4:08 p.m., at Lutheran Home, Fort Wayne. Born April 3, 1911, in Adams County, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Adolph H. and Martha A. (Springer) Doehrman.
She married Herman E. Buuck on Oct. 5, 1935 and he died June 11, 1979.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim, Ladies Aid of the church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and Luncheon Bunch XL Club. She was a homemaker.
Survived by son, Donald G. (Pat) Buuck of Decatur and Kenneth D. (Linda) Buuck of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; and one sister.
Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim, with 10:15 a.m. family prayer service at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. The Rev. Daniel Dahling officiating.
