Georeg L. Boslett, of the Penn Hunt Hotel, Huntingdon, formerly of Altoona, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, following an extended illness.
He was born Jan 18, 1885, in Altoona, a son of Milton and Anna Mary (Sherry) Boslett, and married Seraphine Greiner on Nov. 28, 1911, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Altoona. She died January 15, 1960.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Francis G. and Mrs. Richard Sponeybarger of Huntingdon RD and Lt. Col. Joseph E., in Thailand;seven grandchildren, two brothers and a sister, Maurice and Earl of Altoona and Miss Catherine of Baltimore, MD.
Mr. Boslett was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, Huntingdon. He was employed by the Owens Corning Fiberglas Corp., retiring in 1959.
Friends will be recieved in Brown Funeral Home, Huntingdon, after 7 pm today.
