Born in Lincoln County, Tenn., he was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Buffaloe, and his mother, Eltis Turner Alloway.
He attended Weatherly Road Assembly of God. A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Buffaloe retired from a career in civil service after more than 30 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Papa, you will be missed. We love you!
Survivors include his wife, Betty Buffaloe of Huntsville; sons, Ron Buffaloe of Arab, Greg Buffaloe of Huntsville, and Alan Buffaloe and wife Jenny of Vancouver; daughter, Kim Bice and husband Joe of Huntsville; honorary sons, Lee Madkin, Steve Hinds, and David Landram; brothers, Malcolm Buffaloe and wife Stella, and Doyce Buffaloe, all of Huntsville; sister, Jeanette Sharp and husband Jack of Meridianville; 11 grandchildren, Carrie, Chris, Christy, Josh, Jacob, Sarah, Tamara, Preston, and Auston Buffaloe, and Camille and Dylan Bice; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Sims officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Clearview Cancer Research.
