The funeral services were conducted from the residence Tuesday morning by Rev. J.A.J. Brock. Interment was in the City Cemetery, where services were conducted by Jr. Order U.A.M.
The death of Mr. Ferguson which occurred in this city closed the sad career of a well known man.
For the past few years he has been employed by C.E. Malone in the harness business. His death bed was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Sheets of Pulaski which city was his old home. Mrs. Sheets was his mother.
He leaves a wife and three children who will make their home here. The remains were interred in the City Cemetery.

Thomas owned a saddle and bridle shop in Decatur, along with a farm.
