Barbara Sue (Baltimore) Whiteley,
74, of Pendleton, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2010 following a brief illness.
She was born on December 15, 1935 in St. Charles, Virginia and was a long time Pendleton, Indiana resident.
She was employed at Western Electric in Indianapolis for 15 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Oneida, Tennessee.
She was devoted to her family. She was very supportive and encouraging to all those around her. She was a wonderful cook, loved growing flowers and reading.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Larry E. Whiteley of Pine Knot, Kentucky; five children, Suzan (husband, Charles) Pierce, Ruth (husband, Larry) Rhoades, Larry (wife, Tina) Whiteley, and Jamie Whiteley all of Pendleton, Indiana and Lori (husband, Stephen) Jones of North Webster, Indiana; three siblings, Shirley Murphy, Sandra (husband, John) Alford, and James (wife, Elke) Baltimore all of Pendleton, Indiana; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John N. and Ruby (Richards) Baltimore; and brother-in-law, Harold Murphy.
Services: 11 A.M., Friday, September 24, 2010 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Keith Wooden officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton, Indiana.
