She met Gordon H. Bailey, married and moved to Florence, Colorado. Their son, Gordon T. Bailey (Terry), was born in Canon City, November 30th, 1938. When Terry was two, they moved to Denver and eventually to Englewood. During WWII, Harmony worked for Remington Arms, putting primers in 50 caliber machine gun bullets to aid the war effort. She worked as a beautician after that. When Terry was young, the family would vacation in the Gunnison area, fishing at Iola and Sapinero - all under Blue Mesa Reservoir now! Seventeen years after Terry was born, Stacy (Perkins) came along on March 26, 1956, just as her brother was going off to college.
Harmony had numerous hobbies and talents, including oil painting, designing and sewing clothing, knitting and crocheting, and upholstering. Her favorite times were spent at her cabin near Bailey, Colorado with family and friends.
Besides her husband and two children, Harmony's life was blessed with five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, Denver, CO.
