There is no marker for Leafy Breshears per email from SHS. They confirmed her death date as 2/25/1965.

"Leafy Irene Buffington was Born in meridian, ada Idaho.
She died at the Blackfoot hospital, but is not buried there.
While she was at the hospital from my understanding both family did not want anything to do with her. The story I was told is that she had eplisy and the family did not know what it was and put in her the hospital thinking she was crazy and did not know what to do about it.
When a certain person was notified he had the body buried and would not say where as no one cared. I have seen the grave and promised not to tell where it is at until the person who took me there and told me the story dies, this is why the hospital has no record.
The person who told me is now 65 so it may not be long before I can let you know where the grave is at and get a picture for you.
Just thought this may be something you are interested in."
