Kaysville---Earl Raymond Howard, 82, of 270 N. 300 W., died Friday, April 10th, 1987 at the Humana Hospital, Davis North in Layton of emphysema.
He was born Jan. 21, 1905 in Oklahoma City, Okla., a son of Levi Lawson and Annie Elizabeth Flanagan Howard.
He married Eva Mildred Tipton April 4, 1925 in Council Bluff, Iowa.
He had been an Auto Mechanic. He had lived and also farmed in Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Iowa.
He was baptized a member of the LDS Church in 1986. He was a great humanitarian and was very inventive and mechanical. He was a Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army
Surviving are his widow of Kaysville; two sons and one daughter, Larry Howard, Clearfield; Ran Dee Howard, Ogden; Mrs. Reed (Leola) Van Wagoner, West Valley City; 19 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Also, surviving are one brother and three sisters, Ivan Howard, Oklahoma; Faye Harris, Sioux City, Iowa; Pearl Owens, Sloan, Iowa; Mildred Brodersen, Merrill, Iowa. He was preceded in death by one son.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main, with Bishop Glen Taylor of the Kaysville 19th Ward officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to service.
Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
