Ralph Anderson, 71, of Urbana, formerly of Mattoon, died at 9 a.m. today in Burnham City Hospital, Champaign.
Family funeral services will be held Tuesday at Schilling's Funeral Home.
Mr. Anderson was born March 24, 1904 in Beecher City, a son of Claude and Nellie Ebling Anderson. He was married to Ruth Haugh April 9, 1929 in Mattoon. She survives.
Mr. Anderson was a broom maker for Century Broom Works and Mattoon Whisk Broom Co.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Raymond of Champaign; a brother, Ray Anderson of Mansfield; and two grandsons.
A brother and sister preceded him in death.
