Julius Sholars, age 55, of Rock Beach, Fla., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Sholars of Winnfield, died Friday, May 1, following a sudden heart attack.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in Welch Funeral Home, Baton Rouge. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Baton Rouge.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Strange of New Orleans and Mrs. Rodney Krug of Coral Gables, Fla.; one son, Alan [sic Allen] Sholars, Baton Rouge. He is a nephew of Louis Sholars of Winnfield.

Louis Sholars and Frances Walker of Winnfield attended the funeral Monday.
