Benjamin was the son of Thomas Hubbard Sr. and Frances Hollingsworth.

Benjamin first married an unknown woman and they had 7 children that I know of: Nancy, Solomon, Lydia, Louisa "Lovicy", Susan, William Morris Hubbard Sr. Andrew "Andy" Hubbard.

Benjamin then married Sarah "Sally" May, 15 Apr 1824 Clay Co Kentucky. They had 3 children that I know of: Kessie, Vardemon, and Susan.

Old Cane Springs Baptist Church, Madison Co, KY was constitued on 24 August 1803 with a charter membership of 39. Among the original charter members was John Hall who was the bondsman for the Clay County marriages of Isaac Hubbard and Ann Smith in 1822 and of Thomas Hubbard and Polly Hall in 1825. Starting in 1820, the following Hubbards are shown as members of the Old Cane Springs Baptist Church: Thomas Sr, Thomas Jr, Benjamin, Richard, Solomon, Moses Sr., Nancy, Fany, Patty, Sally, Winna and Lydia. Note that Benjamin Hubbard, Fanny Hubbard and Moses Hubbard were also shown as members of a Baptist Church in NC. Benjamin is then a witness on a Clay County deed dated 15 June 1816 for the purpose of establishing a church. This information is per Mary Sue Hubbard as shown in the book, "Thomas Hubbard of Virginia and Kentucky".
