Bonnie was the daughter of Hayden Madison "Dock" Williams and Bessie Welch Williams Brothers. She lived most of her life in the Lamesa area. Her husband, William Dorris Kemp, was killed accidentally while working on an oil rig in 1954 leaving her with 4 children to rear by herself. She was a great mother and a wonderful daughter to her own mother, Bessie. Her children include Zelma Ruth (1939-1939), Bonnie Kathleen (1940-2003), William David (1942-?)who was killed in a plane crash, Edna Mae (1943) and Jackie Virginia (1946-2006).
